Some know I am a fan of Michael Mann. I’ve shared discussions with other bloggers on the importance of his films like The Insider, which deserved the Oscar nominations it garnered in 1999, and Heat which of the three major crime drama releases in 1995-96 (Pulp Fiction and The Usual Suspects the other two) stands up the best. I’m also eagerly awaiting the release of The Dark Knight in ten days. But then there is this:
